Several classifications of hot runner

The hot runner system is divided into fully hot runner and semi hot runner. The design of adiabatic runner is complicated, but the effect is good and the maintenance cost is very low. The micro semi-hot runner structure is simple, stable and easy to use, low failure rate, low maintenance cost because of the simple structure, and greater guarantee for the stability of production.



Hot runner classification: open (for micro semi-hot runner), needle valve (for adiabatic runner).



The open structure is simple, suitable for micro semi-hot runner, not suitable for adiabatic runner, the adiabatic runner has higher limitations on the material, and directly contact with the product surface, easy to wire drawing and leakage, poor surface quality; The micro semi-hot runner does not contact the product but touches the tiny runner, so the open hot nozzle can be used, which is widely used in foreign high-precision molds.



The needle valve hot runner saves materials, the surface of the plastic parts is beautiful, and the internal quality is tight and the strength is high.



There are two major categories of needle valve hot runner in the world (according to the injection principle) : cylinder type and spring type.



The cylinder controller and the timing controller control the cylinder to push the needle valve close, the structure is more complicated, but the design is simple. The main products are DME (USA), INCOE (USA), MOLD-MASTER (Canada), HUSKY (Canada), AKOMA (China) and so on. Among them, Japan did not enter the Chinese market in the century. Cylinder type because of its structural characteristics determine the MOLD accuracy is high, while debugging and maintenance are more complex, of which Mold-master can be called the hot runner in the Rolls-Royce ---- heating part on the nozzle. Most of them cost a lot in commissioning and maintenance, and customers can't basically maintain themselves. Spring-type is one -FISA (Japan), the biggest feature, relying on the balance of the spring and injection pressure to control the needle valve switch, assembly, debugging and maintenance is simple, mold accuracy is not high, Japanese domestic customers basically have their own maintenance ability, widely used in home appliances, automotive trim, precision multi-cavity mold.



The difference between the spring type and the cylinder is that it can not be controlled in time sequence and can not solve the problem of weld marks well. In fact, the hot runner mold reduces a lot of design requirements, and provides great convenience for designers to develop more mold structures.
