How to use and maintain a single head tube

1. If the single-head tube is used for a long time, if the surface gathers thick pipe scale and oil scale, it should be removed regularly, otherwise it will reduce the heat transfer performance of the single-head tube and cause the heat load on the tube surface to exceed the rated limit and be damaged.

2. The heating part of the single head tube should be fully immersed in the heating medium to avoid the loss of heat and exceed the allowable heating temperature to damage the single head tube. In addition, the leading part of the wire should be exposed outside the thermal insulation layer of the heater or the heater, so that this part should not be overheated and damaged.

3. The single-head tube terminal should be kept clean and dry, otherwise it will reduce the insulation performance and be short-circuit breakdown, if the application of chemical corrosion, flammable, explosive and other liquid or gas environment, should be the single-head tube wiring part with insulation sealing device strictly to protect, in case of accidents.

4. When heating some viscose and other substances, such as sodium nitrate, stearic acid, paraffin, etc., the power supply voltage should be reduced when heating to reduce the heat of the single-head tube, and then rise to the rated voltage for heating when all are melted into a liquid.

5. Input power supply, the voltage should not exceed 10% of the rated voltage marked on various single-head tubes, if applicable to lower than the rated voltage, the heat generated by the single-head tube will also decrease.

6.Special single-head pipe should be carefully read the relevant instructions before installation and use, so as not to damage it.

7. The single-headed tube terminal, when wiring, should be relatively tight with 2 nuts, do not exert too much force to avoid loosening the leading screw and damage the single-headed tube.

8. Special attention should be paid to the heating medium when selecting a single head tube. The single head shell material should have no erosion effect.

9. The single-head tube should be stored in a dry warehouse. If the surface is damp due to long-term placement, the insulation resistance should be measured with a megohm meter in use. If it is less than 1 megohm /500 volts, the single-head tube should be placed in a drying oven at 200 degrees for drying.
